In our lessons, we also incorporate some Greek—the language of the New Testament—to help students connect with the scriptural and liturgical roots of the faith. In learning Greek, we come to understand the deeper meaning of the words found in the Scriptures, the hymnography, the Holy Fathers, and the Ecumenical Councils—meanings that cannot be expressed in any other language.
Three Hierarchs Academy is a private Orthodox Christian school in Florence, Arizona, founded in 2018. The Academy’s mission is to serve families seeking a Christ-centered, bilingual educational program that preserves the Orthodox faith while offering a strong academic foundation. Students flourish when faith and learning are united: daily prayer, Greek instruction, and a tailored curriculum open doors to ancient wisdom and modern understanding.
Orthodox catechism is woven through every subject, including math, science, history, language arts, literature, music, art, and physical education. This holistic approach to Orthodox education guides students toward virtue and truth, equipping children to think clearly, serve faithfully, and grow in holiness.
